The senior management team are responsible for the day to day running of Loretto Care.
Cathy’s role as the Director has an overall responsibility for ensuring the Organisation provides a quality service to all mainstream and supported tenants, service users and staff.
Cathy works with the Group Director of Housing and Care to prepare, implement and adjust strategy, policies and procedures to ensure that the Organisations’ objectives are met.
Within this there a responsibility to service the boards of both Loretto Housing Association and the subsidiary company Loretto Care.
Cathy has been with the Organisation since 1993, and has worked in nursing and social care for over 30 years.
As the Head of Care, Martin has responsibility for the management of all care services within Loretto. This includes inputting at a strategic level to the overall development of care and support activities, ensuring the high quality of service provision is maintained.
Reporting to the Director of Loretto Care, Martin line manages the Area Care Managers and provides reports to Loretto Care’s Management Board in relation to care activities of the organisation. He is also a member of Loretto Care, and Loretto Housing’s senior management team.
Martin has worked in health and social care since 1984, was previously a Ward Manager before joining Loretto in 1994. He has worked in a number of operational care roles within Loretto, and has particular interests in the impact of the built care environment on quality of life and the role Assistive technology can play in supporting individuals.
As Head of Housing, Dan has responsibility for the management of all Housing Services delivered to customers at Loretto Housing. The role ensures Loretto Housing achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through sector leading performance across key indicators and quality standards. Reporting to the Director of Housing and Care, Dan oversees Loretto Housing’ implementation of the 5 year strategy (Investing in Our Futures) and the locality plan.
Dan, working alongside our colleagues in Loretto Care, ensures Loretto Housing deliver integrated housing & social care services to our customers, remaining deeply rooted within our local communities.
Dan line manages the Loretto Housing team in their delivery of operational services such as; Rent and access to welfare support, energy advice, access to housing and housing options, provision of new build and asset growth, repairs services, capital investment programme, sustaining balanced communities, employment opportunities, environmental services, addressing anti-social behaviour, promoting digital inclusion & online services.
Dan has been working in Housing for 11 years, he began his career in Glasgow’s East End with Milnbank Housing Association, progressing to West Lothian Housing Partnership and Barony Housing Association before joining Loretto Housing in May 2016. Dan formerly sat on the Board for the Chartered Institute of Housing over a two year term, in addition, he has been involved in work with Glasgow & West of Scotland Forum for Housing Associations. Dan completed his Post Grad Diploma in Housing Studies at Stirling University in June 2009.
Rona's role as Development Coordinator (Care Projects) is to take lead responsibility for delivering new housing acquisitions and development opportunities, achieving growth for Loretto Housing and meeting any accommodation needs for Loretto Care.
The Development Coordinator (Care Projects) has an understanding of the housing strategies and funding opportunities for mainstream and supported accommodation across Scotland and she promotes the Organisation as a housing provider for a range of clients and types of housing tenure. She works closely with Local Authorities, funders and other strategic partners to deliver Loretto's programme of new projects.
Rona has been employed by Loretto since 2005 and holds an Honours degree in Town Planning. She has worked in Housing Development since 1989, for a number of RSL's and in Community Planning in Glasgow.
